About Me
My name is Hannah Walters and I am a clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist based online and in West Sussex. I qualified with the prestigious Clifton Practice and am a member of the AfSFH, adhering to their high standards of CPD and professional conduct. I help young people and adults overcome the limiting symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, overwhelm, addiction, phobias and many more issues. I combine the best of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neurolinguistic Programming and Solution Focused Brief Therapy with trance to provide long-lasting, positive change to my client's lives. I also have a strong equestrian background and regularly help riders from novice to professional improve their competition scores and become confident, effective equestrians. However, my style of working is not limited to equestrians and I enjoy seeing achievements and success with a variety of athletes, from Golfers to marathon runners to archery professionals. Anybody who wishes to improve their sports performance can be helped with hypnotherapy. |

What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?
This is a type of talking therapy and can help to relieve the symptoms of anxiety, stress, depression as well as helping you to sleep better, cope better and fully immerse yourself in the positive aspects of your life. It can even eliminate specific worries such as going on a plane, talking to an audience and going for that job interview. Some of the session will be collaborating with your therapist and the remainder will be trance – without a pendulum in sight!
Solution Focused Therapy is a modern practice which encourages you to focus on moving forward and making long lasting, positive changes in your life, rather than focusing on the problem or on past traumas. In session, we teach you how your brain is working and how to retrain it so you can take back your power and maintain all your progress long-term. My clients begin to see a difference very quickly and they have been helped enormously to achieve their goals and change their lives. Hypnotherapy uses trance which is a purely natural state that we go into many times a day, watching TV, reading and even driving! Have you ever wondered how you got from A to B? You have most likely been in trance. During trance your subconscious mind will be open to helpful suggestions and your brain can begin to work logistically to find solutions. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis and it is not mind control that is portrayed on TV. It is an extremely natural, relaxing and positive way to end a session. |

I want you to take back your control and feel ready for any challenges you may face long after our sessions have ended.
Following this the sessions are a combination of talking therapy and trance. We will work to retrain your brain for logical, positive thought and end the session in a relaxed state.
Generally, a full course of hypnotherapy is 8-12 sessions though I can give you a more clear idea following our initial consultation. One of the many great attributes of Solution Focused therapy is that it begins to work much quicker than many other therapies!
